Thelma Zoéga candlesticks

This is a set of three cylindrical candlesticks designed by Thelma Zoéga and produced in Sweden during the 1970s. Each candlestick is fabricated in solid brass with a polished yet naturally patinated surface, exhibiting a warm golden tone that has developed subtle oxidation and tonal variation over time, enhancing its vintage character.

The design follows a strict geometric vocabulary, with two stacked cylindrical segments of differing proportions joined by a slender central neck. The upper cylinder, functioning as the candle holder, is slightly taller, while the lower base provides visual stability. The architectural precision and repetition across the set reflect the influence of Scandinavian minimalism, combined with an industrial sensibility characteristic of the 1970s design language.
