Thelma Zoéga candlesticks
This sculptural set of three candlesticks, designed by Thelma Zoéga and produced in Sweden during the 1970s, is an elegant example of Scandinavian mid-century design distilled to its most essential form. Crafted from solid brass, the candlesticks feature a striking cylindrical geometry, with stacked, precisely proportioned forms that balance minimalism and presence. The polished surfaces develop a warm patina over time, lending depth and character while highlighting the material’s natural luster.
Zoéga’s design demonstrates a refined understanding of proportion and rhythm: the three candlesticks vary in height, allowing them to be displayed as a harmonious group or individually as sculptural accents. Their understated yet architectural silhouette makes them versatile decorative pieces that complement both classic and contemporary interiors.
The set remains in excellent vintage condition with only small signs of age and use.
