Wall lamps

This pair of wall lamps, model 8738, was produced by Hags in Austria during the 1950s and represents a compact and functional approach to mid-century lighting design. The lamps are executed entirely in brass and reflect a restrained industrial-modern aesthetic characteristic of post-war European lighting production.

Each lamp consists of a cylindrical brass shade mounted on a short articulated arm connected to a round wall plate. The shade is slightly tapered and open at the front, directing light forward and downward in a controlled and focused manner. The interior of the shade is finished in a light tone, enhancing light reflection and efficiency, while the exterior brass surface presents a warm golden hue with visible grain from the metalworking process.
