Fog & Mørup floor lamp

This rare floor lamp, produced by the Danish lighting manufacturer Fog & Mørup, is a distinctive example of mid-20th-century Scandinavian design. While the designer is unknown, the lamp’s form and material composition reflect the refined sensibility and production standards associated with Fog & Mørup. The design is defined by a gracefully curved brass frame that extends upward and outward into three organically flowing arms, each terminating in an opaline glass shade.

The shades are shaped like elongated flower buds or softly tapered cones, contributing to a botanical, naturalistic expression. Made from opaline glass, they diffuse light gently and evenly, creating a warm and atmospheric glow. The glass is semi-translucent with a matte finish, maintaining both visual softness and material integrity. Each shade is mounted securely to its respective arm, and all glass elements are intact and free from cracks or chips.
